Eagle Ridge Centre, Fort McMurray, AB
PDG will be developing a 364,000 square foot shopping centre in Fort McMurray, AB. This proposed centre will feature a combination of large format retailers (including a food store and a cinema), mid size box tenants, CRUs and PADs.
Okanagan Lake Shopping Centre (Phase 1), West Kelowna, BC
PDG in joint venture with the Westbank First Nation are developing a 125,500 square foot retail and entertainment centre on Hwy. 97 at the new Westside Road interchange. Anchor tenants open and operating as of May 2012 include Shoppers Drug Mart and Landmark Cinemas. Construction began in early 2013 on the next phase. New tenants will include Tim Horton’s and a Shell Service Station, along with other retail/service tenants.
Okanagan Lake Shopping Centre, West Kelowna (Expansion)
Phase 2 will include a major food store, additional CRU and PAD tenants. We are anticipating a 2015 opening.
Tsawwassen Commons, Tsawwassen
PDG are developing a 510,000 square foot destination power centre located on Tsawwassen First Nation lands on Highway 17 between the intersections of 52nd and 48th Streets. Tsawwassen Commons is being developed in conjunction with and adjacent to Ivanhoe Cambridge’s development of a 1.2 million square foot Tsawwassen Mills project. The two projects will have shared entrances from a new roadway network and shared internal circulation as well as a complementary merchandizing mix. We are targeting opening in summer of 2016.
Eagle Landing Shopping Centre, Chilliwack
PDG in joint venture with the Squiala First Nation are developing a 298,533 square foot destination power centre located north of Highway 1 at Evans Road in Chilliwack. Wal-Mart, Home Depot and Cineplex/Galaxy Theatres (opened in 2010) anchor the development. Upon full completion and build-out Eagle Landing will be the dominant retailing centre for Chilliwack and the surrounding extended trade area.
Jesken Town Centre, Saanich
PDG in joint venture with the Tsawout First Nation are developing a 532,000 square foot destination power centre located on the east side of Highway 17 (the Patricia Bay Highway) and Jesken Road in Saanich, approximately 15 minutes north of downtown Victoria. We are anticipating a 2015 opening for the first phase.
Channel Crossing, Penticton
PDG is developing a 250,000 square foot destination retail centre in south Penticton at Channel Parkway and Green Avenue on lands owned by The Penticton Indian Band. Additional phases will include opportunities for large format tenants. Construction is targeted to commence late 2014.
Schwanee-st Landing, Maple Ridge
PDG in joint venture with the Kwantlen First Nation are developing a 270,000 square foot shopping centre located in east Maple Ridge on the Lougheed Highway @ approximately the 254th block alignment. Construction is targeted to commence in late 2014.
PDG is currently in negotiations to acquire additional development and/or redevelopment opportunities in the lower mainland of BC and in selective primary markets in Alberta.
