Tsawwassen Commons, Tsawwassen, BC
Tsawwassen Commons is a landmark 550,000 SF retail development anchored by Walmart, Canadian Tire and Rona with a diverse tenant mix and trading area that will service the affluent areas of Tsawwassen, Ladner, South Delta, North Delta and South Richmond. The property is visible to the 7.9 million passengers who travel to the Tsawwassen Ferry terminal along Highway 17. Tsawwassen is located in the southwest quadrant of Metro Vancouver, and this area is currently under serviced by retailers, forcing residents to commute to surrounding municipalities for shopping needs. In addition to servicing the primary trade area, Tsawwassen Commons will benefit from being adjacent to Ivanhoe Cambridge’s Tsawwassen Mills development, a 1,200,000 SF enclosed shopping centre which will include retail, outlet, entertainment and dining, along with 16 anchors, including a 145,000 SF Bass Pro Shop, the first of its kind in BC. We are targeting opening in Fall of 2016.
